At 12:30AM Sunday, I thought the reason I wasn’t getting home as early as planned was that piece-of-shit L train. Seven hours later I found out it was because, among other things, of a severed head.
Before arriving at the First Ave, Brooklyn-bound L stop, I received and ignored a text message from a friend that said, “The woman next to me on the sidewalk just saw a decapitated head apparently and is crying into her cellphone about it.”
This thing I wrote was just put on Gawker and so was a text from Christine.
Nvr 4get the time I thought a woman was nuts but then it turned out she had actually seen a severed head on the subway.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT. So that’s why I couldn’t get into the city last night. See also: 3 other people died on the subway this weekend.
