So this was taken by Jacqui a year ago tomorrow, on the first weekend I hung out with Jordan. We met up in New York and within a few hours, decided we should live together. Like all great ideas, this was cobbled together over the course of several rounds of cocktails and while standing outside in ankle-deep slush, chain smoking cigarettes and throwing snowballs at bar signs. We (and others) make frequent jokes about how either one of us can usually be found within 5 feet of the other, but without Jordan (and my brother, and my mom - both of whom I love more than I ever can/will express), I wouldn’t be here at all. This has been an incredible, constantly mind-boggling few months. It’s a little tough right now being “underemployed” and whatnot, but it’s just a roadbump. Moving here was, without a doubt, the best thing I’ve ever done. I decided that this is where I want to be one year ago tonight, and I know, without a doubt, that it’s where I want to be a year from tonight. So thank you (and cheers) to my family, my friends, and my roommate. Despite his love for Trick Daddy and the Miami Marlins, he’s a pretty okay guy. Happy Saturday, everyone.
